-
How do I schedule if I don't know when my baby will be born?
-
Once you reserve your session, Kristin will provide guidance on when to reach out after baby is born. She keeps her schedule flexible around your due date and will work with you to find the best time for your session once your little one arrives. You’ll also receive a step-by-step session prep guide to help you feel totally prepared.
-
How old should baby be for the session?
-
The ideal window for posed newborn photos is between under 3 weeks old, when babies are still sleepy and naturally curl into those adorable womb-like poses. That said, Kristin adapts her posing and styling to suit each baby’s needs, and can still capture a stunning gallery outside of that window. Newborn sessions can be taken through the first 8 weeks of baby's life!
-
My baby is already 2 weeks, can I still book?
-
Not at all! Kristin frequently works with older newborns and is known for her ability to create beautiful images at any age. While certain sleepy poses may be more limited, her expert swaddling, natural posing, and styling techniques allow her to create timeless portraits for babies through 8 weeks.
-
Can I schedule on a weekend?
-
All in-studio newborn sessions take place Monday–Thursday at 9:30 AM, or between 9:30–1:00 for mini sessions. To accommodate working parents and school-aged siblings, a split session option is available for an additional $75—giving families the option to return later in the day for family or sibling images.
-
Can I bring my own props to the session?
-
To maintain her refined, cohesive aesthetic, Kristin provides everything you’ll need for your session—including hand-selected wraps, bonnets, headbands, and timeless props featured in her portfolio.
After booking, you’ll receive a custom questionnaire to note your preferences, colors, and must-have shots. If you’d rather leave it all up to Kristin, she’s happy to style the session from start to finish.
